So this is a very very broad question. Can you provide some context so that we can help you a bit more?
If you are talking about working in the "field" as a medical professional, that can still include dozens of professions that are not medical doctors.
Are you looking into Nursing? being a nurse assistant? Mobile radiology tech? Mental health specialist? Phlebotomy? Each of these areas will have a very specific response.
For example, I worked for a hospital as a psychiatric screener. Technically I worked in the field in the medical profession but my job was to work with first responders to ensure those that were a danger to themselves or others could receive the proper care they required.
More information in the question, the better we can help you out.
Best of luck

Hi Aaliyah,
This totally depends on what your career is and what specialty you are doing in the medical field. For example, a nurse, surgeon, PA, midwife, dietician, etc. all have very different days but are all in the work field. It depends whether you want to be in the hospital, outpatient, in a rehab facility. Some hours are nightshift, and some are dayshift. So I would shadow a lot of different healthcare fields if you are unsure which you & like to get a good idea of what their day looks like.
