Gurpreet’s Answer, CareerVillage.org Team

Howdy Jack,

Gurpreet here, CareerVillage staff member! Amanda's response is spot on. We are a non-profit that connects students with professionals in the fields they want to get into. You can ask ANY career/college related question and get an answer from our community of thousands of professionals. For example, let's say you're interested in become an engineer. You can post a question asking people what they like about their jobs or how to become an engineer.

There are millions of students just like you who have asked questions in the past. If you don't want to post your own question, you can use the search bar to explore and read the advice given to those students. CareerVillage also has a to do list function to help you keep on track of everything you need to do to reach your goals.

If you still have questions, shoot CareerVillage an email at hello @careervillage.org

Trisha’s Answer

Hello,

This forum is an opportunity to ask questions about high education and specific career and associated education tracks. Typically those answering questions are those with expertise in the area associated with the topic raised.

Amanda’s Answer

Hey Jack,

This site is a space for students to share their questions about career paths of interest, and once those questions are published, Professionals who have experience in the field you're interested in can find your posts and provide you with information about what you'd like to do.

Additionally, if Professionals answer your questions, then other students like yourself can review your questions and our answers and get some additional information themselves without waiting for a response to a duplicate question.

Hopefully this helps!

/Amanda
