What are the best classes for me to take for early childhood development?

I am a senior in high school studying early childhood development at Ozark Technical Community College. I also go to a private Christian School in the mornings before that. I love kids and just interacting with them. Now I need to know what to do to get better learning about early childhood development.

Honestly while you’re in community college it is better to take your prerequisite courses ahead of time to make sure that once once you get to the the collegiate level you’ll be able to go directly into the path that you want to go to. Also don’t ever let anyone tell you that there isn’t any money within early childhood in development or within a family childcare development area. You make your own path you make your own way you make your Mark on those children who need you

I love guiding children and the classes I have taken that have helped me the most are:
- Yoga for kids teacher training
- Art Healing for kids
- Day Care training
- CPR for children
- The Psychology of the Child

I have also read many books and I have my own kids - that's where I've learned the most, from being a Mom.

The classes you are attracted to will be the ones you will love and learn from the most. Open your heart...and ask yourself. What about kids do you want to understand, what about yourself as a child would you like to know better? We are all children of the Universe...still and forever learning and changing. Follow your interests and you will learn a great deal, more than following anyone's advice on what to take. Good luck!
