Hi there!

Salaries vary based on the setting, experience, specialized certifications and region you are working in. Many companies offer a sign on bonus as well. I would look at average salaries in the area you would be living to get the best estimate. I will say that the salary is not the primary motivation for most PTs. Pay is good, but there is excellent job security and job satisfaction in physical therapy.

I hope that's helpful!

Hi Destiny!

Interesting question, here is a pay range of how much physical therapists make:
http://www1.salary.com/Physical-Therapist-Salary.html

Physical therapists will make different amounts of money based on experience, prior training, location, the clientale they work with, etc. etc. There are a ton of factors that factor into pay but that link will give you a good estimate on how much you will make.

I would be careful with just choosing a job that pays a ton. You have to remember that even though I'm making a lot of money it might eat up a lot of hours of my time that I have no time to have a social life outside of work. You have to find the right balance or else what's the point of making all that money if I can't even spend it on anything? I think job satisfaction is number one :)

Good luck with your career!
