Susan’s Answer

The pay was part of it, but I wanted to do something I liked, too - travel or travel-related. So that was my first goal. I needed enough money to pay rent/food/etc. but being able to work in a travel field was more important than making lots of money. So, I started at an airline in telephone reservations and worked my way up. It paid off!

Follow your passion and you will figure out how to cover your needs. You will be much happier. I love what I do and I enjoy going to work. Here is a great video from Simon Sinek. Skip the ad and fast forward to 50 seconds into the video. Good luck! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNiKmZ__yZY
