What type of dancing would I need to focus on if I want to be an ensemble member?

On Broadway, should I focus on all types of dance or just on one, such as jazz? #dance #broadway

Learning as many types of dance as you can is never a bad thing. But, if you’re looking to create a shortlist to prioritize for Broadway I would say: ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and ballroom.

Learning as many types of dance as you can is never a bad thing, but if you were going to try to shortlist or prioritize for Broadway, then I would lean in the direction of ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and ballroom.
