I would say it drastically changed the dynamic of all of my relationships. For me, college wasn't just classes and exams. It was being able to take care of myself away from home, learn how to manage my time, prioritize some things over others, and realize making mistakes is all a part of the learning process. I saw my family much less, but they understood. If anything, it made our bond stronger because the time we spent together was more meaningful. Work helped me develop skills that couldn't be taught in a classroom, like how to interact with different kinds of people. There was definitely pressure to go out all the time and be super social, but it seemed draining to me after a while. I still made time for my friends throughout the day instead of grinding every weekday and socializing all weekend. It taught me how to balance everything important to me.

Hey,
I have found college to be a prioritize my wants and needs. At the end of the day, you are paying for your education and it is what you make of it. At times it will be difficult to manage all of your responsibility within both worlds (personal and work/school). I have found that the best way to handle it is to schedule out everything and to learn how to say no. Do what you can to fulfill your obligations but ultimately you need to do what you need to do.
