How often do employers acknowledge the National Career Readiness Certification?

I am going to be taking the certification exam tomorrow and I am wondering if actually obtaining the certification is of any worth to employers. #employee-training

I am not familiar with that certification, however it will be something that sets you apart from the crowd. Having taken the time to identify and study for a certification shows initiative and drive that employers notice. When reviewing resumes that meet the minimum requirements, I do look for certifications, courses, or experience that shows a person is serious about growing and learning in the field. I usually pull those for first interview, even if they may not have a significant level of experience in actually doing the job. After that, it's up to you to communicate well and show you have the attitude and aptitude to be a great part of the team.
