Hi De'Asia,
To become a pediatrician, you will do 4 years in college, then 4 years in medical school, and then 3 years of a residency. This will be the bare minimum to become a pediatrician. If this seems like a lot of schooling, there are lots of other ways you can help children in a healthcare setting. My friend is a nurse at CHOP, so she only works with children. You can also be a Nurse Practioner or physician assistant. Otherwise, I think the schooling is worth it if you really want to be a pediatrician.
