Lani’s Answer
You have to have an eye for what you want to photograph. I am sure a passion will help you work thru creating art. A lot of things come into play, such as lighting, location, aperture, ISO, etc.... Look up the Three T's in photography for more information. And try not to focus on if it is easy or hard, focus more on if you have a passion for it and want to spend time on learning and growing your skillset.

Hello!
I think there are many ways to look at this question.
In a sense, yes. Anyone can take pictures and do photography. However, it does take some knowledge of the settings and angles and whatnot in order to do be a good or even great photographer.
You do not necessarily need to go to school to be a photographer, but you may want to take some classes and get practice.
You also have to think about whether or not you are going to want to own your own business or work for someone else.

Hi,
there are many talented people out there and in todays world you don`t need any expensive equipment to create great images.
The trick is to find your unique way of taking images and capturing what you see.
Maybe you get started on Instagram and create a followership or you take a look at creative communities, such a as behance and get inspired.
Good Luck!

I started photography as a hobby. I am a very technical, numerical person and was drawn to the technical side of photography (camera settings, technical specs). That part of photography came easy to me. The challenging part was being creative and setting up the scene I wanted to capture, what angle to capture it at. I thought photography would be easy because I thought it was all very technical, however it takes a lot of creativity which was more challenging for me to pick up.

I suppose it all depends on the type of photography that you want to do. If you wanted to say be a wedding photographer it would be easier than being a wildlife photographer. That's not to say that every type wouldn't have their challenges. You have to deal with all of the equipment and people/animals. I had a co-worker who had his own photography business on the side. He loved it. He was never going to be rich from it but it was something that he loved doing. He did mostly nature shots. My advice would be to find the type of photography that you wish to do and then learn from there. Hope this helps!

I would say that photography is harder than it seems. Yes, we can all take pictures to some extent. However, it does take a unique skill to be able to take more of the "professional" shots. I am sure if you were truly interested in photography, you could learn the techniques and tips in no time. From my understanding, many people begin photography as a hobby or side hustle. Soon, they begin to invest in more high-quality cameras and lenses to get the best quality.

Most people think that photography is extremely easy, we just have to point a camera towards something and click but my friend it's not just that . Sometimes you might get the desired frame, sometimes not.
Before shooting anything we need to visualise the frame, plan the concept (if any) in order to get that perfect shot. Also if you have great observational skills then its a win win. :)
