You can do a double major if you want or have a major/minor situation that benefits both careers. It really depends on what would be most beneficial for your path.
Also, I technically couldn’t afford University either. I worked while in college, took out student loans, got a few scholarships, got a tuition payment plan, and joined the National guard to help pay for school. There are always ways to make your dream happen, but only if you haven’t decided to give up.
If you still think university isn’t possible, take a few courses at a time from university and take it slowly (it’s longer but more doable financially and you’ll still get a degree from that university). You can also go to community college. You can transfer to university when you’re more financially able to or just graduate from the community college.
There are also classes out there taught in the general community outside of university/college if that’s the route that’s best for you.
Just don’t give up on your dreams. Make them happen.

Absolutely, the key is to be organized. Start using planners, and digital calendars. Make schedules and have an accountability partner to help you stay on track with courses and volunteering time.
Also, there are thousands of scholarships out there that can help pay for college and higher education.
Best of luck to you!
