Thais’s Answer

I believe that good places to open a restaurant are close to commercial buildings, or in busy places, where several people pass each day. And it is important to check if in the place where you want to open a restaurant, if there isn't already a good restaurant in the region, because it will be more difficult to start with an established competitor.

SHONIKA’s Answer

Hi Zaylin - When searching for a place to open a restaurant/establishment, etc. search for data around foot traffic, parking availability, and if your restaurant/establishment will be a niche spot. Ideally, you'd want to be in a location where customers wouldn't have to travel far and if its not within walking distance, that customers will have somewhere to park. Continue working on renewing your menu, if you choose to do a restaurant, but keep the staples that customers love. Its all about residual, meaning you want the customers always coming back for that same entre! Good luck!

Karen’s Answer

Hi Zaylin,
My husband is in the restaurant business. He runs an authentic Mexican restaurant, and the location is right within the neighborhood where his customers live and work. In general, it can be ideal to locate a restaurant in a busy area, either a downtown area (although these locations can sometimes cost more) or an area near other businesses where your customers work. Good luck!
