Hello:

In your last year of college, or after you've graduated, you need to study for the law school admission test (LSAT).

NOTE: Law schools do NOT usually interview applicants. To get into law school you send in your undergraduate transcript, LSAT scores, an essay explaining why you want to go to law school, and letters of recommendation from your professors and/or employers.

Law school is for 3 years full-time (4 years part-time). After you graduate law school, you study for the bar exam. The bar exam is the summer after you graduate. It's 2 to 3 days (depends on the state) .

You don't become a lawyer until AFTER you've passed your state's bar exam.

Earning good grades in undergrad is a good place to start. Then you have to take your LSAT exam. Once you take your LSAT you will interview with schools and hopefully one of them will accept you. Hope this helps and good luck!
