Is pediatrician a really good career to major in

Because this is something I really wanna do #nursing

Thank you comment icon You can't major in "pediatrician". you can specialize in that field. Your best bet for finding out more is to speak to someone who is a pediatrician and someone who is studying to specialize in pediatrics now. Rachel

A pediatrician is a doctor. I'm sure being a doctor is great but its definitely alot more schooling than nursing. Nevertheless being a pediatrician is an awesome career choice.

Rosie recommends the following next steps:

Research diffetent medical school.

Malik, do you like the sciences, maybe some research? Those subjects are involved. If you are asking because that's what you're planning to concentrate in, then good luck! That is wonderful.

You can't actually major in being a Pediatrician. You will need to major in biology or concentrate in science courses that a particular medical school (post undergraduate) would take towards your medical degree. You might be served by taking a look at a few Medical school admission requirements. Speak to a counselor at the college you plan to attend. Good luck on your planned career path!
