Hi Carolina! The test required is MCAT (Medical College Admissions Test). This test has four sections, Chem/Physics, Bio/Biochem, CARS (critical analysis and reasoning) and last Psych/Sociology. Most of your prerequisites that you take during undergrad as a premed concentration help prepare you for the MCAT exam, but it is crucial to study and take practice exams. You can take psychology and sociology - they are not required but recommended for medical school. I would also recommend checking out Kaplan, AAMC and Princeton Review for practice exams/books-resources. Usually many premeds take the MCAT their junior year of college before being a rising senior or a gap year after college. It is a very important exam for medical school so it is important to do well but if one devotes their time correctly and focuses well on studying then it is doable to obtain a good score!
