Manuel’s Answer

Diljot,

There are many fields that fall under the umbrella of Anthropology. Anthropology itself is the study of humans within society. A high school course will most likely be a broad overview of all of the topics that make up anthropology and will likely include the following topics: Linguistic Anthropology (how language affects human interaction), Biological/Physical Anthropology (the biological development of humans), Social/Cultural Anthropology (the norms and values of human society). It is possible that this course may also include some lessons about Archeology and history as a whole.

In anthropology, you will study the nature of humans in a society. You may cover ways of communication, biological development, and other cultural ideas. Enjoy the course!
