Natalie’s Answer

Hi Jack,

Currently no college in American offers an accredited college degree in paranormal studies. There are some schools that offer classes in this field, but they are not accredited and often cost lots of money. I would try to find the contact information for a paranormal investigator and interview them to learn how they got their start. As far as college degrees, you may want to study religion, folklore & Mythology, Anthropology and even Physics.

Good Luck!

Natalie

Jack, MS. Fein’s suggestions of college courses that you can take, are very good ideas! When I started out, there were no classes in this field, so I bought books and studied the paranormal. Be patient with yourself in this field. You are basically trying to contact the spirit world and they can be picky when it comes to who they decide to communicate with. Do not be discouraged about your age. I know people who started communicating at the age of five. I do not use any equipment, but most investigators do. This can make your job a whole lot easier. Here is a good site to look at about investigating and equipment. http://www.christopherfleming.com/ There are also a lot of investigative teams that you can ask to be a part of. Mostly found on social media and the internet. Be sure to check in with your parents as you research this. FYI, I went to high school in Justin, TX.
