Sharing that I am no singer :)...but I know a few...and I know a few who were able to pursue their singing careers while in college. One thing to consider...many great colleges and universities have singing groups...like glee clubs and choirs. In general, student groups are always looking for new members. Also, depending on the location of the college/university, you could find yourself in a place where there are venues, events where live singing is of high value.
My point is you may not necessarily have to go to a "singing school" in order to sing while you are in school :). Be sure to remain focused on graduating...and enjoy spending time exploring fun activities in the music scene.
Best of luck to you!

Hi!
I have a really good resource for you. http://www.collegesource.org/home.asp Click on "advanced search options" then "criteria" search and you can research schools according to major, size, location, etc. I'm in the Northeast so the best vocal music programs include Westminster Choir College (NJ), Elizabethtown, PA, Westchester, PA, Manhattan School of Music, NY, Curtis Institute, to name just a few.
