Usually, the jobs in these industries are on project basis. The income of these jobs are countered per project rather than having monthly salary. It may not be easy to have a stable income of these jobs.
Having said that, it also depends on the role you would like to take in these industries. There are back office staff (e.g. Admin, Accounting, etc.) in these entertainment companies, modeling agents, etc. These people are work as permanent staff and have monthly salary. It really depends what role you would like to take.
If you really would like to work as a actor, model or photographer, there is large variance depending on your popularity. The income of super model and normal ones may have huge difference.
You may have to reconsider again what is your preference, i.e. your interest in these industries or financial stability, etc. If you can have other financial support (e.g. your family, etc.) or you consider to find other part time work, you can consider to give a trial first since you are young. A lot of these careers are more favourite to start at early age.
Hope this helps! Good Luck!

I know many people in creative industries like film, photography, etc. Many of the people that I know have multiple streams of income. As someone mentioned above, the pay for creative industries may not be stable but instead be on a project basis. You may have multiple projects in one month but no projects in the following two months. To combat this, you can have another stream of income. That can be through taking on another job. For example, if you like film then you may take a job as a film teacher. This will allow you to still enjoy your passion while being able to have consistent checks every month.

My answer will not be as informational as other's, but my honest advice as a young adult who wondered down the same career path with the hope of being financially stable. Starting out, you want to as you would in other career paths, you need to be able to market. In this case with entertainment, you need to be able to market yourself well. This can start off as doing extracurriculars that you love and are related to these career paths. Take photos, get good at editing your photos, get good at doing your makeup, and such. You want to present yourself well as well as make you stand out. Take every opportunity as you can. Join clubs related to these at your college, but don't limit yourself there. There is a bunch of activities on the internet that you can do. Join photography contests, film contests and such. Just try and dip your fingers in everything. As for wanting to be financially stable, you can. Get jobs on the side by doing things you like. For example, if you enjoy tutoring, try and find a tutoring job. Don't focus too much on being financially stable as you are only in your first year. Use your time to see what it is you truly want to do with your life. I know it might be hard.
Hope this helps! Good luck! You got this!

Hi Charidan,
Your avatar alone stands out from the rest, that's a great touch. And technically speaking its no longer you going to modeling calls or sending in headshots to your local talent agent.
The table has turned and now its them finding you. Your an actress?? I suggest you create a social media presence. Choose one from the many popular platforms and create a channel. Re create different acting scenes and upload your vids, and watch your numbers build and then
send a tweet of your page to the actor you were emulating.
And continue to do this, mix it up and re-do popular commercials but put Charidan's sytle into it. Do the same for other social media platforms yet be tactful on how you run your channels and not give out too much information about yourself. These are your professional channels and should be treated as such, people will begin to take notice.
Create channels for film, photog and acting. The modeling factor is a little different still a bit more seamless. Certain brands after purchasing their clothing prefer you take photos in their clothes so they can add you to their sites. Some brands that come to mind are Notoriouss, Rent the Runway and ModCloth. When these companies upload you to their site, be sure to add this to your Bio.
Good luck with all your endeavors.
