The world of automotive has changed a lot in recent years and has expanded a lot. The most important part of it is changing the type of fuel and engine that has moved to electric cars. So my advice is to first decide which part of the car industry you are interested in. ;
_ Body
_ Engine and power transmission
_ Fuel and energy
_ Suspension and braking systems and ...
Computer and electronic systems and navigation

After this decision, it is enough to put all your focus on that field.
For example, if you are interested in the body of the car, you can study in the field of design, modeling and aerodynamic analysis.
In computer and electronics, you should expand your knowledge of programming and electronics.
