Will the health industry expand or contract, now that we are 2 years into the pandemic?
I am curious to know if the health industry continue to make its large presence in our daily lives. The health industry had invented new vaccines, new medicine, new masks and many other items during the pandemic. However, will the industry continue to thrive when the pandemic is over? #medical #healthindustry

With an aging population and many advances in care, the prognosis is that the healthcare industry will continue to grow.

If you're looking to enter the health industry, you will have plenty of opportunities for career development. Research and continued discussion within the pharmaceutical industry remains a sector of growth, fuelled by the need of clinical experts for projects in medical publications ae well as related learning and development. So after the pandemic, the demand for ongoing research to discover new vaccines and medicines will persist and expand for therapy areas including oncology, neurology and other specialist areas.

Yes - If anything COVID has helped to reshape and improve the healthcare industry by forcing hospitals and healthcare institutions to adopt new technologies with EMRs, telemedicine, patient-related tools/resources, etc. In the broad view of the health industry, there will be more opportunities with non-patient facing roles in business, information technology, and information services. In the US, there is a large population of 55 years old+ that provides a positive job outlook for most healthcare provider fields. I'd recommend asking about or researching specific careers to learn more specific information.
