Hi Daniel - Sounds like you are quite interested in real estate! Here are some initial tips for you to consider:
First, consider if you want to be a real estate agent working for a brokerage firm or if you are more interested in real estate investing for yourself.
If you want to be a real estate agent working with clients to help buy/sell their homes then here are some additional tips:
- Shadow a real estate agent that you know. Ask them to observe them for a day/week to get a feel for the profession to see if you may want to pursue the career yourself.
- Complete an internship at a real estate office. This is another way to add the experience to your resume and get a better feel for what a career would look like. You need to start somewhere!
- Research your state's requirements for becoming a real estate agent. Each state has unique license requirements so figure out what they are and what you need to do.
- Take a pre-licensing course to learn the foundations of real estate and after then take the licensing exam. If you pass, you can activate your real estate license.
At the end of the day, getting licensed in real estate takes time and money but it can help you secure a rewarding job in the industry! Especially in the housing market conditions right now, it's a fast paced job that provides many opportunities.
Hope this helps and good luck in your endeavors!

The first thing to remember there is no wrong or right to get started - everyone's path is different and that's okay.
I wouldn't worry about learning about one area of real estate right now - rather focus on just learning and connecting.
Register for free real estate online webinars on Eventbrite, listen to real estate podcast and YouTube content, create an account on BiggerPockets.com the biggest real estate community online, - just be a sponge.
As you get older and have more independence, this is the time to reach out to local connections to build your knowledge and connections.
Be willing to learn and see what areas interest you most and try it! Don't limit yourself and challenge yourself to learn and look up deals and develop your sales skills.
Wish you the best!
