Creating the NFT isn't hard at all, there are many easy ways that you can draw art and then mint it through existing tools

Create a Piece of Art - any drawing will do as long as it represents your target market
Get a Crypto Wallet and Add Some Crypto - a wallet like metamask is a good choice. Use Coinbase to transfer money from USD to ETH or any other coin
Pick a Platform to Sell On - Opensea is the biggest marketplace and has a huge number of buyers
Pick a Blockchain - Etherium is the best but most expensive choice
Minting Your NFT - The marketplace you pick should have tools to mint, remember you will need to pay a tax called Gas to mint it.
Selling an NFT - List the nft in the action and promote it using social media

Hope this helps

Making NFTs is relatively easy and most anyone can do it. Hence, only the most sought after ones will fetch any money. I think of it like singing. Anyone can do it but very few people make any real money doing it. https://www.theverge.com/22809090/nft-create-opensea-rarible-cryptocurrency-ethereum-collectibles-how-to covers some high-level info on the subject.

Making crypto currency is also pretty easy, but requires expensive compute hardware and lots of electricity to run it. You can do the research but I don't know that there's any easy money left to be made here. Some folks make money trading crypto but you need money to start and its as easy to loose money as it is to make it. Also, the transaction fees are not cheap. PayPal charges 1% to buy and 1% to sell crypto.
