Depending on what type of trainer you are looking to be, the answer can vary. Generally, to become a trainer it will take a 4 year education at the University level (and maybe at a community college level depending on where you go to school) in order to gain the necessary education and experience to do whatever it is you wish to do. Sometimes it can also require just a certificate which would take less than a year, but that is rare.

Hi, Brandon!
I currently work as a corporate trainer after working as a teacher and principal for 30 years. The minimum requirement for my particular position was a Bachelor's Degree and experience in training/coaching.
