I'm not sure anyone will be able to answer this exactly. HVAC is needed everywhere though! I would recommend trying to do a job shadow. When job shadowing, it can often be stressful, I remember being nervous about it, but you should try to go in with an open mind. You're just there to learn, and no one expects anything from you. You could also look into trade schools that teach HVAC near you. If you're in high school, your teachers/counselors may have resources that can help!

"The state of Texas was home to two of the top metropolitan cities for employment of HVAC techs. The Houston-the Woodlands-Sugar Land metro area employed 8,220 technicians and the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington metro area employed 7,250 techs."
