I'd begin by researching veterinary schools you would be interested in attending and seeing what pre-requisite courses they require. This differs school to school but they are typically heavy in math and science. Some veterinary schools may also require you to have a bachelor's degree (some may not). I have also heard from many in the veterinary science field that working or volunteering at your local veterinarian office is a great addition to your application for school as it shows dedication to the profession.

Depend on your school offering what courses, but you will need classes in biology, chemistry, physics, and math. Also depending on the school, you may also need classes in biochemistry, mammalogy, and other advanced classes such as: organic chemistry; Molecular and Cell Biology; Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
