Andrew’s Answer

A job is difficult or not is primarily a matter of perspective. If you love what you are doing, you will consider a “difficult” job challenging and demanding. However, you will be rewarded handsomely with a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment.

Yes, engineering is a challenging and demanding discipline, the language of which is mathematics. If you love mathematics, and if you get yourself competent and proficient in mathematics, you should be able to handle various subdisciplines of engineering, aerospace engineering included.

To prepare for aerospace engineering, or any other areas of engineering, in college, you should start taking challenging courses in mathematics (precalculus and calculus), physics, and computer coding. I would like to wish you the best for your future endeavor in engineering.

Ayush’s Answer

It can be challenging, however all engineering is simply problem solving. It can be helpful if you have an intuition for math or a knack for seeing 3d shapes in your head, but neither of these are required. Learning to code and being familiar with basic calculus concepts will go a long way, especially if learned before college. However, I've worked with very successful students who have not learned either before college. I encourage you to get into aerospace engineering!
