I want to be a gynaecologist, please how many years am I supposed to be prepared to stay in college for and I will also like to know what is required of me to do before I can get into college #gynaecologist

I have a background in health care. To become a gynecologist, first make sure you have strong science background in high school.


In college, you want to focus on biology or pre med undergraduate degree. Then you would go to medical college for 4 more years. Then your surgical residency (5 years). This is where you train (paid and provided with residency). Then you may have to specialize for 1 year.


Hope this helps you and now you know why doctors go to school for a long time. There is a lot of responsibility for delivering babies.
