Good question!
I would say it really depends on what you define as your needs. I would assume that money is a big consideration in your decisions, as stability is important especially in today's economy. But make sure not to sacrifice your mental health and well-being by doing a job you dislike/hate just because it pays well. It's important to find a balance between your needs and your passions. But of course, the job you want may not realistically be a good career choice, especially if it's unstable and extremely difficult to achieve. But remember, passions can always be lifelong hobbies if it isn't your actual career.
My biggest piece of advice is to take your time and consider all your wants, needs, and aspirations carefully. Don't rush into a decision you may regret in the future.
Hopefully this helps, and good luck!

Hello Monse!
This is a great question to consider! I would say that it is absolutely important to take the time to self-reflect on your goals for your future (AKA - wealth, education, family, health, mental wellness). If you need to, speak with a family member or trusted mentor if you want a second opinion on realistic goals for yourself. Once you have some goals, you can then compare your future career needs to your goals in life. There is a great balance between what you need and what you want!

That's a great question since your career has a big impact on your future.
Before you decide what career to pursue, carefully consider your options and ask yourself a few things
1. List down your interests
2. List down your skills . Think about your hard skills and soft skills.
3. List your talents and strengths.
Once you have some idea after answering these questions , you could network with people in the similar profession to get a better understanding.
Hopefully this helps!

You are the best person to answer this question. I would think that the answer of this question may change over time. You may have different needs when you are at different ages/stages.
For example, when you have a family, you would need to support the whole family. You would consider a more secure job and decent salary. When you are young especially after your freshly graduate, you may look for more job satisfaction with the salary that can support your basic living. Then, you would have more capacity to look for a career you have a interest or you can look for some careers with more challenges. You have more time/buffer to take some risks.
Therefore, I would suggest you can put down 1. what you need for the time being 2. what careers you would like to do and what these careers can provide you on the aspects of your needs. You can match and prioritize the careers among these 2 list.
Hope this helps! Good Luck!
