I would strive for A's and B's. Your grades and the score you achieve on the SAT can determine the amount of scholarships you can receive. As well as determine which College and University you are accepted.

Hi Hannah! This depends on the colleges that you are looking at. I see you are based in California, so if you are looking to get into a UC then honestly you would need mostly As. But if you are looking into going to a state school (CSU) you will be good with mostly Bs. Hope this helped and good luck! Don't stress to hard, community college is also a great option!

It never hurts to try to get straight A's but its not exactly necesary for you to get into college or university. right now, id say to focus on getting good preperation for ACT and SAT tests and build up a good extracurricular resume since those are the things most colleges look at. do not feel pressured to have to have perfect grades look into 3-6 colleges that you would want to go to and see what their admission requirements are and see how good thier programs are for the major you want to go into.
