Congratulations, Welin!
The first piece of advice is patience and being ready for hard work.
Joining a great college is fun and exciting, meeting new people with great minds.
What you prepare for this college is your mind, be open to every information you learn; if you did not get it, practice more and more, and you will get it.
I am not lying to you; top colleges are challenging for those who are not ready. But if you got on the sail from the beginning, you will find it easy and exciting.

Ok, you want a fast, effective start in college?? For the courses you are going to take next semester look up info on those on the college web. There may be a course outline so glance at that. If there is any other information----like a reading list---then get started on that (at least speed read some of it to get better acquainted with what the professor may address).
Good luck my friend.
