What would be the best pathway to become an air traffic controller in Georgia?
I live in Georgia so I was wondering if their are any colleges in my state that would be good for this pathway.

The next FAA hiring announcement for Air Traffic Controllers is scheduled to be 6/24-6/27 2022!
The median annual wage for ATC in 2021 was $138,556. If you or someone you know is looking for a government career with awesome benefits and retirement pass this on!
The requirements on the last announcement:
-Be a United States citizen
-Be under 31 (on the closing date of the application period)
-Pass a medical examination
-Pass a security investigation
-Pass the FAA air traffic pre-employment test
-Speak English clearly enough to be understood over communications equipment
-Have three years of progressively responsible work experience (In any field) or a Bachelor's degree, or a combination of post-secondary education and work experience that totals three years
-Be willing to relocate to an FAA facility based on agency staffing needs
That’s it! The job listing will drop on USAJOBS.GOV so make sure your resume and profile are up to date when the job posts. In the mean time feel free to message me or any of the awesome controllers you might know if you have any questions. Good luck! 🍀👍

This is on of the results I found just by typing “Georgia Air Traffic Control Training”
Middle Georgia State University is one of the Air Traffic Collegiate Training Initiative (AT-CTI) institutions in the United States that the FAA has partnered with to train potential air traffic controllers. The degree program in ATM is the Associate of Applied Science in Air Traffic Management.
—————————————
I would then go to their web site and look up the Air Traffic Controller.
You could also go and visit them or call them for additional information.
You could also call your local Federal Aviation office and they could also give you some information and possibly allow you to take a tour of the Air Traffic Control Center or possible the tower at a local airport.
