what are some places i can work at as registered nurse ?

There are unlimited opportunities for RNs. When you think of a nurse, you probably imagine them working in a hospital or doctors office. Here are examples of other places you can work at as an RN.

Home Health Nurse- visit patients in their home
Travel Nurse
Elementary/Highschool/Universities
Helicopter/Flight Nurse
Medical Spa/Aesthetics Nurse
Occupational Health- provide health services to company employees
Plastic Surgery Office
Concerts/Events
Telehealth- work from home, consultations
Entrepreneur- start your own business
IV lounges- provide IV hydration infusions and administer vitamin shots
Nursing Home
Urgent Care
Military
Cruise Ships
Blood/Plasma Donation Clinics
City/County Public Health
Jails/Prisons
Mental Health/Psychiatric Clinic

Nursing allows you to work in so many different locations or environments: hospital floor, post op recovery, pre op testing, case management, home health, hospice, schools, camps, nursing homes, walk in clinics, bloodmobile, dr offices, research clinics.

In addition to all of the other great answers posted here, Nurses can work in IT for medical record and medical software development. They can also work with engineers, drafters and architects to design medical offices, hospitals, nursing homes, etc.
Public health nurses work with the community, identifying at risk populations, endemic disease.
Nurses can work in research. They can become epidemiologist.
There are so many avenues to take as a nurse.

Becoming a nurse gives you lots of opportunities to serve and help in many fields; hospitals, schools, doctor's offices, clinics, public health, insurance, hospice, and rehabilitation centers. The opportunities are endless, wherever there is a need there is an opportunity to help as a nurse.
