Thank you comment icon Yes these are the top law schools in California. But if the law school is ABA accredited and has good bar passage rates, you can also attend that school and pass the bar exam. Camille Edwards Bennehoff

Click the link noted above for a definitive list of law schools in California that best prepare you to pass the bar exam. You cannot lose by going to any of the UC law schools. And as a former course facilitator for a bar exam preparation course, I would also recommend one of those after you finish law school. Completing both we'll set you up for Success. Good luck!

There are a lot of good law schools in California. Law school is expensive. If you are a California resident, you may want to consider going to a UC law school instead of a private law school since UC law schools will give you a tuition break if you are a California resident. UC Berkeley was mentioned above, but you may also want to look at UCLA, UC Irvine, UC Hastings and UC Davis.

The most important thing to look for in a law school though, is it make sure it is "accredited"--going to an accredited law school will probably give you the highest chances of passing the bar exam. So, once you find the law schools you are interested in, do some research to make sure they are accredited.
