Chad’s Answer

As someone in the technical field for nearly 20 years, there are always new "peaks" to reach. Look for new challenges and new ways to innovate. Find new areas of interests that are tangential to what you know now. There are things that you don't know that you don't know right now. Go to the engineering library and just walk down an aisle with the information you feel you know and branch out from there. Let the universe point you in the right direction.

Joseph’s Answer

I've been a programmer for 17 years. There's always more to learn. Technology evolves and new ideas and spaces open up. Every peak is just a view of the next mountain.

Yesh’s Answer

Hi Kendalle, one of the best things about a career in technology is that innovation is always just around the corner. That can be scary and it can be exciting. It also means that one truly never peaks. Additionally, once you've mastered your field/profession, you can elevate others around you. When you start mentoring or managing others, it creates a whole new mountain for you to climb.

Nora’s Answer

How do you feel to reach the "peek"? If it feels you are not learning more, you are in your comfort zone - change your perspective? There is always something you can learn - explore new topics and areas you can develop, find a mentor or inspiring people to help you reach the next "peek".

Ross’s Answer

Look at goals as milestones- if you strive towards a "peak" then you risk losing growth when you feel you've attained a "peak" position.

Avoid the feeling of "I made it, now what" by continually addressing and setting goals with a short term and long term mindset (monthly, yearly, 3-years, etc.). This allows you to always strive towards the next goal instead of being stuck on the peak.
