Kyle’s Answer
A college major that does not require much math is communications. I am currently a communications student and I personally never liked math and the only math course I had to take was a statistics class. Statistics was fairly easy due to the fact that it is something you will use is businesses and such. That being said, this was my experience with taking statistics in college so however your work flow is might be totally different. Just make sure to stay on top of your studying, homework, and ask questions to your professor when you need the help.
Thank you, this is amazing! I really needed it.

Most humanities/social science majors don't require math, like history, sociology, communications, etc. But if you are studying at a university you are ought to take math classes because of the general education requirement for graduation. Some of these major requirements may also contain some math classes (like statistics) to prepare you for research. Hope this helps!

Hi Kellis:
As I recall many of the subjects and majors in the liberal arts and the social sciences do not require math.
This includes majors in music, communications, English, philosophy, anthropology, history, sociology and art etc...
But remember, colleges and universities have things called General University Requirements. Where you must take and pass at least one college level math course. So, you will need to pass that course in order to advance into your future major.

Hi Kellis,
I believe most majors will involve some form of math, but at different difficulties. I did not have to do a lot of math as a Psychology major BUT I had taken pretty tough math classes in high school so probably did not have to take basics math courses in college, and then I had to focus on statistics a lot for my major. Try looking up the course catalog from the school and seeing what the basic courses + major courses involve. Good luck!

Hi kellis.
Math can sometimes be required at the state level rather than by the major program. My degree programs did not include Math but the school had it as an essential course along with other elements like State History and potentially an English class. If you are worried about Math during your college experience, there are often resources on campus to help you - such as study groups or mentoring options.
