Liz’s Answer

Ms. Carmen-

If healthcare is the choice for you then understanding studies for this profession are time consuming although extremely rewarding, and provides purpose as you selflessly serve others.

Curriculum for any profession you decide should be approached in an organized, dedicated and consistent manner to succeed.

Any career path you take whether it involves hands on training or education based degrees; all of it is going to prepare you so just GO for it and don’t let anything hold you back.

Wishing you the best of luck!!
Remember FOCUS on reaching YOUR goal and be an independent woman.

Stay safe!

Jo Anna’s Answer

It all depends on what you want to do. There are careers in the medical field that do not require as much education and are just as rewarding. I would look into different parts of the medical field and see what interests you and go from there.

Rija’s Answer

Hello Carmen!

No doubt, it takes a lot of hard work for someone to work in the medical field. For the time, it depends what you want to do. If you want to be a doctor, you will first need to complete a bachelors degree (4 years), then go into medical school (4 years) and then residency (3-7 years depending on the specialty you want to go into). If you want to be a Physician Assistant, you will need your bachelors degree and then you will need to go to PA School (2-3 years depending on the program). There will be many times where you will have to study for your exams/quizzes or do your homework and you may not have a lot of free time as you used to. You may miss out on many events too. It all depends on what you want to do!
