Mayra’s Answer
The best way to be happy in a job is by getting to know yourself. By understanding your interest, values, and personality and then aligning those to a career is a great start to being satisfied in a job. I also, deeply encourage career exploration with internships or volunteer work, and even mentorship are all great ways to try on the career first before you invest all your time and money in a career that may not be the best fit for you. Best of luck.

At the end of the day you will never be truly happy unless you actually like your job. Though money is nice look inside your self ask your self what are things you love and research careers based on your interests. Once you find some that are relative to things you are interested in then start figuring out how the schedule would look. Don’t look at the things other people have to define your success. You should be able to get a career you actually enjoy that’s suitable to the work schedule you want and reflect on the things you have and decide if that is successful in your eyes. One thing I must say though is even though you may be successful in your eyes that doesn’t mean you stop because time certainly Doesn’t.

This is really a good question. I would recommend you to do something you have interest on and have work life balance.
Firstly, you would work on the job for 8-10 hours everydays and 5 - 6 days / week. You can imagine that it would be painful if you do something you have no interest at all. If the job you have interest on, you would have fun in addition to make money. Also, choose the job with challenges to you. Though you may feel stress sometimes, it can help you to develop and you would have a sense of achievement and satisfaction after overcoming the challenges. Otherwise, it would be boring if the job has no challenges at all.
On the other hand, other than working, you also need some time to spend with your family, friends, etc. , hobbies/interest, exercise, sleep, etc. You may also need some 'me' time for reflection. You don't need to fill up your schedule completely. Both your mental and physical health i s also important.
Hope this helps! Good Luck!
