Do we need to have take acting courses before playing in a movie / TV show?
I sometimes feel like I got the potential for this, but i'm scared to be too much confident for at the end be really bad. I don't want to be too sure about myself. And if there are classes to take are the courses on Youtube enough for it?

Taking courses is a good idea, assuming you do not have any experience in the field. Doing courses will allow you to learn the skills needed in order to perform well.
Youtube videos can also help, since it can offer a different perspective from taking a course. For example, in the course it can be taught by a person that is in the field of being a judge or director for productions, while in a completely different course/Youtube video it could be an up and coming actor giving the advice as someone who has already done what you are going through at the moment.
If you have a local community theater and/or group, it could be worthwhile to ask for advice.

Hello! I think that taking basic acting class in person will give you the oportunity to find out if acting it is what you really want to do on long term. As a theather designer I had to take acting class because I needed to understand how the body of an actor work, the concept that the director wants and what I could offer to improve the play. Besides that, you can go to plays in your city, read some classics plays, because an actor need to study a lot about culture, art, theather and life itself, and another class like dance and sing will help you a lot, those studies will give you later the foundation for build your caracter in a play. Good luck in this beautiful path :)
Thank you very much for your advice, I was thinking about doing a short acting workshop in September to see if it's very my thing and I will also follow your advices for sure ! :)

Classes would definitely be a plus for this career path, but I'd also look into local community theater. Although you are interested in acting, it would be good experience to accept other open positions. Set decoration, lighting, costumes, etc. So much goes into creating a production. The exposure to the industry and all that is involved will help you to see the
big picture of how it all connects and works together. Volunteering with a community theater will also be good to have on your resume! Good luck!

Taking classes would be a great idea! Although YouTube serves many purposes and is very good platform for gaining knowledge on a variety of topics, there is nothing like actually being present in a class setting. There is so much more to acting than just acting which I feel you may not be able to get through a YouTube video.
Thank you, Tiona for the advice.
