How can i get my dance business heard?

How can i get my dane business heard? What should be why prices and how can i succeed in the future? #dance

Thank you comment icon Hi Asia--could you give some more information about your dance business? Is this a business where you teach people to dance? Or, is this a business where you (or a group of people) perform as dancers at events? It's hard to say what will help your dance business be heard without some more info! J Pan

To get your dance business heard, build a strong brand identity and use effective marketing strategies such as a professional website, social media, and local advertising. Set competitive and flexible pricing, provide high-quality instruction and excellent customer service, and actively network with local organizations and industry professionals. Gather feedback to improve and set clear goals for future growth. By focusing on these areas, you can enhance visibility, attract students, and achieve long-term success.

Hello,

Part of being successful in any business is marketing. You will need to advertise -- to get your business out there (use social media, word of mouth, give out flyers and your business cards). Secondly, you need to decide the location, time and type of dance classes you'll be offering. With regards to location - are you planning to lease a space or to sublease? You will also need to get the following: insurance (for the space you're leasing, liability (in an event someone gets hurt), music license and CPR certificate).

If you are just starting out - having promos help tremendously. Example: first class is free; bring a friend and your class is free or 10th class is free. With regards to pricing, you'll need to consider all your expenses to come up with the price. Know your area. Do some research and find out what similar studios are charging. Some places use punch cards which is cheaper than paying per class rate.

Best of luck!
