Are rehab aides and techs the same thing?

I think they're the same but I want to make sure so that I'm putting the right job experience on my resume and college application

Yes, typically those terms are used interchangeably. I would put whatever your job title was on your resume that way if they reach out to your employer it is easier to verify.
