I would recommend taking general business classes and then let your interests guide you as get into your major. A lot of schools will offer some sort of a business technology degree so you can get both.

Hey Aldo,
I did this very thing about 14 years ago. I love writing code and solving problems with technology and I also wanted to get into the video game industry. I decided to start up my own consulting business (Immersive Realms, Inc.) to bring finances in while pursuing my game development initiatives when not billing. I did it for about 14 years and loved almost every moment of it.

Hi Aldo,

I actually had the opposite experience, having no passion for IT or previous knowledge my first job happened to be with an IT company and it was one of the best experiences I've had. In fact, it's been seven years since then and I've never left the industry.

The nice thing about IT is it's not all about being technical, but there's a good chance you'll build technical skills. If you would like to be really technical, a Devry or ITT class might help you better understand the more technical opportunities you could try and one might spark your interest. There's tons (networking, architecture, coding, storage, security, cloud platforms, etc.)

If you're looking for more business with light technical opportunities (like me) then I'd suggest project management, professional services/implementation managers, or customer success type roles (marketing as suggested above is also a great option!) These roles have some business some technical aspects and the work is unique as every customer is different.

Aldo,

you are correct, Technology is a broad field. I think you need to understand what area of technology interests you most. There is an online site called Udemy, that you might want to visit. There are a number topics and related videos. This might steer you in the right direction.
