I have a question about Nurse Anesthetists

What does a typical day look like on this job?

Thank you comment icon Her work is hard as she helps the anaesthetist in preparing the anaesthetic syringe and she qualifies the patient to take it and helps the doctor to administer the anaesthetic injection to the patient and follows up the patient the length of the procedure to assure that the biomarkers have sound. I work closely with CRNAs. I am a PACU and preop nurse. I can tell you what I have seen. They come into the surgery department in the morning and look at their assignment list. They collaborate with the anesthesiologist that they will be working with. They screen all of their patients prior to surgery and review a full history. After surgery they provide a full detailed report to me in PACU about what they did during the surgery. They are never on call and they work standard hours of 7-5.
