Bailey’s Answer
I work closely with CRNAs. I am a PACU and preop nurse. I can tell you what I have seen. They come into the surgery department in the morning and look at their assignment list. They collaborate with the anesthesiologist that they will be working with. They screen all of their patients prior to surgery and review a full history. After surgery they provide a full detailed report to me in PACU about what they did during the surgery. They are never on call and they work standard hours of 7-5.
