Any experience regarding administrative duties like software, record keeping, phone calls, file organization, etc. would help stick out for these types of roles. When applying, I would mention how you can efficiently perform all administrative duties and that you find joy in doing it. It would also probably help to note why medical administrative or secretary assistance is essential and beneficial for others.
The course is a great strategy! From my experience, the joy in the things I like to do shows in my day-to-day life. I love administrative work. I've never had an administration job, but if I were to apply for one, I could talk about how I've done lab inventories, created organization reports, ordered supplies, and worked as a medical scribe. Now I am called the "Lab Secretary" at my job (lol!)
I've learned that if you keep doing what you love and think will get you where you want to be, that is ultimately the best strategy.
It also may be helpful to look at current job postings. Most jobs will dictate what skills or experience they are looking for. This can help guide you towards different things you can do.
