Hello Jayden!
As far as hours for manufacturing plants, some are 24/7 with multiple layers of shifts, others are closer to your 9-5 depending on the urgency of the commodity being manufactured. For automotive plants, I'd imagine they run for more than 8 hours a day, but not 24/7, say 7 AM to 7 PM likely in shifts. For pay, you can find average earnings here: (https://www.bls.gov/iag/tgs/iagauto.htm) but since it is the average, starting pay is likely underneath for each respective category. As far as experience, it would depend on what you are looking to do. If you want to be on the shop floor, you'll need a number of years under your belt before being considered, although these companies also have internships that can fast-track you to a job placement if they see you are motivated and skilled enough. For jobs that require a Bachelors degree, you could get in without any experience at all, but that will likely come from similar opportunities like internships to get a foot in the door.
I hope this gave you something to consider, and feel free to poke me with any additional questions!
Decide what specific job you are looking for (i.e. design, shop floor manufacturing, supply chain, etc.)
Look at the open positions on their website under 'Careers' to see what they think an ideal candidate has for experience/skills
Begin collecting work experience or educational degrees to match their qualifications
