Fred’s Answer
Your starting point would be the CIA's website. They would have a "careers" section listing all openings. Surf around there, looking at different titles and see what the requirements are. Any large organization will have many different roles with different requirements. Working in the technology department will have different requirements than being a translator. They will need HR, accountants, maintenance...so what you need to do to join/work there depends on what kind of role you want there.
You don't say how old you are. If you are a student, they may even have internships for college or possibly high school students. Internships are often a terrific pipeline into employment. You get to know the workplace and its culture, and they get a good idea about you and if you'd be a good fit.

David,
Looking at the CIA website is probably the best place to start. I would also recommend looking at other government agencies as well. The FBI, NSA, and state department all hire agents and might offer similar roles.
No matter what role you are looking for, getting good grades and having a clean background check are going to be critical for getting a job at a federal agency.

Hi David,
Although I am not a CIA agent and never fully applied to work for as an agent, I do remember seeing CIA recruiters on my college campus. believe it or not, they hire a lot of people coming out of college. My best advice for you, once you attend college, make sure you join clubs/organizations in your campus, as many recruiters from different industries will be at job fairs looking to hire new people.
The school/ organization in which I saw recruiters from CIA was from an event in NYC through the ALPFA club (Association of Latino Professionals For America).
Like Fred R mentioned on this post, they have a wide ranging of jobs available as, HR, agents, psychologist, engineers, Economist etc. CIA has jobs for most people who go to college. Depending on the career you choose, make sure to search for internships, and try to find a mentor at the CIA that can help you get your career started.
