Hello, I believe being a nurse anesthetist is becoming a very challenging endeavor due to the shortage of doctors anesthetists, I encourage you to become one of them but be mindful don’t do it just for the money, do it because you love it and you always put patient’s safety before you and always keep in mind they have to survive with no sequela, so know your anatomy, physiology and vitals. Good luck

Hi Johnny-Angel! First of, choosing a career as a Nurse Anesthetist is a wonderful choice. Since this type of career is an advanced practice in nursing, you will need to have a doctorate degree (since 2022, it is now required to have a DNP degree) to apply for CRNA school. Some states/school require you to take & pass a GRE some don't. You really have to do a good amount of research as to where you'd like to apply for. But before applying, you'll need to make sure you have an ICU experience (must be CCRN certified). I hope this helps!
