Future job?

One Job that that I wouldn't mind doing to pay off the bills would be to work as a linemen. My friend recently graduated from a linemen's school and it seems to be a really good job with a very rewarding pay. It's a lot of hard work but I would have the chance to travel around the United states. I also don't like school that much ,so I would only have to go to school for 10 weeks.

One option would be to explore the occupation in more depth. Check companies that employ linemen and see where they operate and what the requirements are. This might give you more information to make your decision.

your traveling chances would mostly depend on the company you work for (in most cases). I work at an electric utility, and the places you would travel would largely depend on where jobs are needed. During storms we look for help from other companies, but other than that you would stay local to where you were hired.

Other than that, I think it's a great job! But it is a lot of hard work with long hours.
