The military is a great career option. As far as which branch is the best, I would say that decision is solely up to you! Talk with each branch, learn about the jobs and benefits of those jobs such as certain skills and certifications learned and then make your decision. Each branch is great in its own way because they are all uniquely different with the same goal!

hello Chris, thank you for your question. If you are series about going into the military, I would suggest that you find out what each branch specialty is that way you can find out what may be the best branch for you. For example, the Army spends a lot of time in the woods training sometimes training can last for up to 2 weeks at a time. There is no porta potties or showers, I believe they give you wet wipes to wash up with. Another example would be the Navy I you are claustrophobic you may not want to join this branch because your sleeping quarters resemble coffins. Best of luck
Id never join the army because army sucks cant take a poop or pee and cant shower no way jose. my cousin is joining the navy so i might go join him and be his bunkie

Marines, of course!
My Dad was Air Force. Brother was Navy. I didn't go in.
But, as a police officer, I worked with many Veterans, and none compare to the Marines.
Of course, you can get elite training in specialty units of any branch.
And, it really depends on what you want to get out of it. A 22 year old military man is much more mature than a 22 year old civilian. He has leadership experience, understands responsibility, etc. And, employers like that! You also get good training in the military - from medical, to mechanic, to chef, the military pays you to learn!
Is it worth it? Sure. Because you come out of it with a degree of self-confidence, that helps you to get through no matter what life throws at you.
