decision-making for my first career job.
The first option is the company is a Quality Assurance test engineer in the IT of the car industry.
The second option is the company using software for drawing 2D and 3D drawings of the boiler in the boiler and combustion company.
Is QA good for a long-lasting career? On career review sites, there are many negative comments about this role.

QA is something that will always be around. Companies also need to make sure they are producing quality product be it IT, medical, industrial ect. I have recruited for QA Engineer in IT. The position paid around $80,000. The job was doing QA for a mobile app.
Thank you for the advice.

You might consider the company as a whole in your decision as well. Although I'm not in QA, I'm in a similar role in Internal Audit. Even if you find that QA is not where you want to spend your career, it could be a good start to a long career in that company. QA should give you good insight into some of the key products of the company, which then would give you great knowledge for a variety of other roles in the company.
Thank you, Frank!

Honestly, you can do either and be happy. Your first job will not typically define your career, my advice is to choose the role that you feel will help you grow into a future role.
I started working as an engineer doing 2D designs for drill bits, but then decided that I wasn't a big fan of that type of work. Now I am a program manager in IT. I did learn a lot in that first job though and the best thing was to be able to do the engineering job and understand how they operate.
A QA job can be good too, but it can be seen in a negative light because your role is to find issues and tell people that their solutions are not working in some cases. It is natural for others to not like the person that is always checking their work, but the QA role is critical and the world needs good people in QA.
Good luck with your choices, both are good roles and just know that whatever you go into, it will be a learning experience for how you want to define your career, it won't be the only job you ever do.

I am not in QA area, but one of my friends has been in the Quality Test and Control area for a long time. So we can safely say QA is a great career to pursue. Besides, QA is an important part in almost all industries such as IT, Internet, E-Commerce, Finance, Insurance, manufacturing, wholesale or retail, etc.
Thank you for giving me advice.

Coming from a QA world, I can assure you that Quality Assurance is definitely one of the most rewarding and sustainable career path for most individuals.
The automobile industry is an amazing start for a career in QA. I understand that you see a lot of negative comments but I would suggest to give it a go. Attend the interview and talk to the team and the recruiter. Also make sure this is something you want to do in the long run. Check if there are mutliple paths within the same organization you can explore if for any reason the QA path doesn't work.
QA is here to stay. Its one of the most stable jobs I have ever seen. You will definitely open your career to explore other opportunities withing Quality Assurance as long as you love solving problems and have an attention to detail.
